This is a single piece blow-molded filters, made in plastic with threaded life. It has a multiport valve, pressure gauge, a manual air vent and water purge. It has a maximum working pressure of 2 kg/cm2.
Side mounted filters are also quite common. They have a multiport valve, pressure gauge and water purges. It is dust repellant.
Compact filters as the name suggests is more compactly fitted than the normal filters. As such, it does not require much space to be fitted. These can be embedded into the ground or above ground.
Pipeless filters are also quite compact and free of extensive maintenance. As the name suggests, there are minimal or no pipes in these filters.
These valves have multiple ports for various fittings. They can be at the top or at the side. They can be either manual or automatic.
Filters need certain materials to be able to function. These materials are called filtration media. Filtration media can be made of glass, gravel and silica, anthracite, zeolites & diatomaceous earth.
Pre-filters help the filters in many ways. It helps improve pool water circulation, it allows effective pool vacuuming and it minimizes filter maintenance. Pre-filters help reduce the burden on the filters thus giving the filters a longer life.
A pressure gauge is used to measure the pressure of the water in the filtration systems. A good quality pressure gauge will have long lasting life.
Control panels, contains various controls to manage the various systems and pumps and filters. These make management of the systems relatively easy.
